Each year, this unforgettable tournament raises over $150,000 to support life-changing programs for children and youth across Prince County.
Teams of golfers can register and be paired with a celebrity for a full 18-hole round at the beautiful Mill River Resort—creating an experience that's both meaningful and fun.

Coldest Night of the Year – Summerside
On February 22, 2025, BGC Prince County once again hosted the Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) walk in Summerside—a national event that raises funds for charities supporting people experiencing homelessness, hunger, and crisis.
Each year, teams of walkers from local businesses, organizations, and the broader Summerside community come together to walk 2 or 5 km in support of LifeHouse, our emergency shelter and housing support program for women, children, and gender-diverse individuals.
In 2025, we were proud to see 257 walkers across 50 teams, supported by 37 volunteers, helping us raise an incredible $112,754—reaching 96% of our $117,000 goal. All proceeds go directly to LifeHouse, supporting safe shelter, wraparound case management, and transitional housing for those in need.
This annual walk is a powerful reminder that it’s cold out there—but we walk together to create warmth, safety, and community for those who need it most.

GoldRush Draw
GoldRush is a weekly toonie draw supporting BGC Prince County. For just $2 per week, participants have the chance to win a growing jackpot while helping fund essential programs and services for children, youth, and families in our community.
Here’s how it works:
Each player is assigned a number.
To play, visit a participating location, place a provided sticker with your number on your toonie (or two loonies), and drop it in the box before the weekly cut-off.
If your number is drawn and you’ve played that week, you win the jackpot. If not, the prize rolls over.
The draw takes place every Wednesday at 12:30 PM and is broadcast live on 102.1 Spud FM.

Operate our nutritional Breakfast Program
Deliver weekly food support through Project Backpack
Offset program and staffing costs
Fund ongoing capital improvements and facility upgrades

Toonies For Youth
Toonies for Youth is a weekly Island-wide 50/50 draw supporting several local non-profit organizations across Prince Edward Island. Operated from Charlottetown to Tignish, this long-running initiative helps fund essential programs and services in communities across the province—with expansion plans underway to serve eastern PEI as well.
Every Thursday, participants have a chance to win a growing jackpot while giving back to organizations that support healthcare, youth engagement, recreation, and public safety.
