Our Wednesday Basketball Drop-In at BGC Summerside is a high-energy, skill-building evening for youth aged 8–12—offering far more than just a game of hoops. With support from the PEI Alliance for Mental Well-Being, this program promotes physical activity, confidence, and connection through teamwork, coaching, and structured play.
Each session includes:
A light supper and hydration
Warm-up drills, dynamic and static stretching
Team-based scrimmage play
Encouragement and guidance from caring staff and coaches

No experience is needed—just bring indoor sneakers, a water bottle, and a great attitude. Spaces fill up fast each week, so early sign-up is encouraged!

Friday Fun Night at BGC Summerside is the perfect way for kids aged 7–12 to end the week—with friends, fun, and lots of activity! This free drop-in evening offers something for everyone, whether your child loves to play sports, get creative, cook, or just hang out.
Each session includes:
Gym time and active games
Arts & crafts and board games
Cooking activities and movie nights
Outdoor play and holiday-themed dance parties
A supper provided to all participants
