Murray Pinchuk Award

BGC Prince County, Executive Director Adam Binkley, and the LifeHouse team have been awarded the 2024 Murray Pinchuk Community Builder Award by the PEI Institute of Professional Planners (PEIIPP)!

This award celebrates the legacy of the late Murray Pinchuk, a long-time planner with the City of Summerside, and recognizes outstanding contributions to community building on PEI.

We were nominated by Janice Harper for our work in housing security, including the creation of the LifeHouse Emergency Shelter and Transitional and Affordable Housing.

King Charles Coronation Award

We are proud to share that our Executive Director, Adam Binkley, has been awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal, a national honour recognizing outstanding contributions to community and country.

Adam is receiving this award on behalf of BGC Prince County, and was honoured to have received two separate nominations for his leadership and the positive impact our organization continues to make in the lives of children, youth, and families across Prince County.
